Once your treatment is finished, your doctor will check that all the planned movements are complete, remove your composite attachments, and scan you for a retainer. You will have to wear a retainer at night even after treatment to ensure the teeth don’t move back to where they were (teeth have a great memory and without retention, they’ll go back to their original spots!).
